My name is Julie, I am a qualified hypnotherapist and I specialised in helping people who struggle with any form of anxiety and with people who experience difficulties with stopping a habit.
Hypnosis is not a state of unconsciousness or sleep, nor a state of mind control. Hypnotherapy is effective when we are willing to accept suggested ideas and when we actively experience their effects in our imagination. During hypnosis, you are in control, focused, and feel more able to respond to suggestions at a profound level, to directly influence your emotions and behaviours.
